Yuliya Kyrpo

Yulia moved with her family to London from the Ukraine at the age of 13. Formerly a self-proclaimed poor student, Yulia found herself amongst teachers with high expectations and she rose to meet those beliefs in her abilities.

She gained recognition shortly thereafter for a design she was encouraged to enter into the Young Designer’s competition. That provided her with a fabric sponsorship, thus enabling her to design and create her first collection. That process helped to establish the work ethic Yulia now strives to maintain.

New fashion success was realised when she folded 1000 origami cranes into a gown that was worn by the Blue Peter presenter and was on display at the London Science Museum. She is now furthering her studies at London College of Fashion and is eager to discover what the future holds.
