ABOUT JOHN

John hosts a fabulously popular and incredibly valuable daily podcast, EntrepreneurOnFire, where he interviews today’s most successful and inspiring entrepreneurs, featuring Seth Godin, Gary Vaynerchuk, Barbara Corcoran, Tim Ferriss, and over 300 more.

He started out as a commissioned Officer in the US Army and did a 13-month tour of duty in Iraq as an Armor Platoon Leader (tanks!). He served for seven more years in the States – three active, and four in the reserves. After the Army, he set out to do what he was ‘supposed to do:’ find a J.O.B.

First he tried law school and lasted only one semester before realizing law was not his calling. He then headed to Boston for a corporate finance job; again, not his thing. He then moved to New York and worked for a tech start-up. But he still hadn’t quite found what he was looking for, so he headed to San Diego, California and started in real estate.

He was spending a lot of time in the car and turned to podcasts to pass the time effectively. And that’s where it all started…
