Ostriches survive, and thrive, even though their environment has killed everything in sight – and is now trying to kill them!

Erik and I have spent a lot of time in Africa (he’s South African). I am forever amazed to be driving for hours through dead, dry, exhausted nothingness, and then we see the ostriches. Like this picture I took in Etosha National Park, Namibia, ostriches seem to be able to adapt where nothing else can.

If you are not living the life you WANT, take some advice from these resilient ostriches: figure out how to adapt. Start dreaming. Then make a solid plan. Then make it happen! And if anyone tells you you’re crazy and that you should be taking the safe road, just give them this quote card – and then prove them wrong!
